A short guide
How it works
My Nature Doc turns a short video from your phone into a tiny nature documentary, with calm narration and captions. Here is the whole thing, in plain terms.
1
Upload a short video.
Tap the upload button and pick a clip from your phone or computer. Anything up to about a minute works well. A pet, a bird at the feeder, a squirrel, a wave, a plant in the wind. All good subjects.
2
Tap "Make my documentary."
We watch the video, write a bit of narration in a calm nature documentary voice, and record it. This usually takes a minute or two. You can close the tab and come back later if you like.
3
Play, download, or share it.
When it is ready, you can play it right here in your browser. Tap Download to save the finished video to your device, or tap Share to send it to friends and family through Messages, WhatsApp, email, or anywhere else you like.
About credits
What is a credit?
One credit makes one short video. That is the whole idea.
One credit, one film.
Every finished film costs one credit, up to 60 seconds long. We show the cost on the screen before you make the video, so there are no surprises.
Getting more credits.
You can pick up a pack of credits any time from the credits button in the top corner, or subscribe for $6.99 a month and get 15 credits every month. Credits never expire, so you can use them at your own pace.
